Xi Nê

/see-neh/ — like a scene from a film

Sell the atmosphere
before the dish.

01 · The Brief

The atmosphere
is the product.

Xi Nê is not a conventional F&B venue. It is a bistro and jazz destination built around a cinematic idea, with a distinctive nostalgic setting in Da Nang.

A

Challenge

Do not turn an atmosphere-led brand into a catalogue of dishes.

The first thing to sell was the desire to step inside, stay and listen — not an isolated plate removed from its setting.

B

Direction

Every frame should share the same emotional temperature.

The venue remains the lead character. Food, drinks and live music all live within motivated light, intentional shadows and a slower storytelling rhythm.

People should remember how Xi Nê feels before they remember a specific dish.

02 · Tone & Mood

Cinematic. Intimate. Warm.
Rich in depth.

Light does not cover everything evenly. It guides the eye across food textures, warmth in a glass, the movement of a hand and the shadows that give each frame room to linger.

Light

Controlled, clearly motivated light; shadow is part of the visual language.

Texture

Weathered wood, fabric, aged walls, reflections and food textures stay visible.

Pace

A slower, closer rhythm gives people time to feel the space.

Avoid

Flat lighting and the polished, clinical look of generic studio menu photography.

03 · Content System

One feeling.
Three content rhythms.

The system follows how the business actually communicates: introduce the venue, build appetite and maintain a steady presence across menu content and events.

01

Space

The venue is the lead character

The nostalgic, tropical architecture is photographed like a film set, so even one corner can carry the brand identity.

02

Appetite

Food belongs to the atmosphere

Close details and natural shine sit within warm light, keeping every dish inside Xi Nê’s visual world.

03

Presence

Menus and live music

The same cinematic language carries from social menu content into live music communications.

04 · Assets & Commercial Role

Made to be remembered.
Structured to be used.

Created Assets

A practical visual library for the brand

  • Daytime venue photography and evening atmosphere.
  • Food, drink and material details.
  • Vertical menu photography for social media.
  • Documentary images from live music nights.
  • Ready-to-use crops and cover images for social formats.

Commercial Role

A reusable library built for long-term communication

  • Keep the brand consistent across social media and the venue.
  • Publish menu and event content without rebuilding the style each time.
  • Turn the atmosphere and music into reasons to visit.
  • Create multiple useful crops from the same production day.

05 · Asset Structure

Three chapters.
One visual world.

The image library is organised by purpose, helping every customer touchpoint use the right kind of frame while preserving one cinematic identity.

01

Atmospheric Space

The space tells a story
before anyone enters.

Tall windows, weathered wood, plants, table lamps and deep architectural layers form Xi Nê’s most ownable visual asset.

02

Signature Appetite Frames

Close enough for texture.
Dark enough for warmth.

Every dish stays within a deep brown setting and dimensional light — clear enough to build appetite without becoming catalogue photography.

03

Campaign Support

One visual language.
Many reasons to appear.

The system carries from social menu content into live music nights, making every appearance recognisably Xi Nê.

2025Menu Content

Menu Content

Every dish
gets its own scene.

Vertical menu images use deep brown props, natural food highlights and enough negative space to work flexibly across social channels.

14 · 03 · 2025Live Music Night

Event Coverage

One night.
Its own rhythm.

Jazz-night coverage keeps the amber light, close distance and real audience layers, making music feel like a natural part of the venue.

06 · Deliverables

From production
to every touchpoint.

This was more than a beautiful image archive. Every group of frames had a clear role in the brand’s communication system.

07 · Results During the Partnership

Putting the visual system
to work.

From December 2024 through June 2025, Xi Nê used the visual content system across menus, social media and in-venue activations. These figures place the work within the brand’s real operating context.

Hang Đôi’s Role

Visuals built around every reason a guest might visit.

We directed the look, produced the image library and organised content for Xi Nê’s communication touchpoints — from food and space to live music.

In-Venue Activations

The visual system gave every activation a recognisable Xi Nê foundation and gave guests more reasons to share it.

01

Acoustic music nights

Live performances became atmospheric occasions with a clear rhythm and a story that could continue on social media.

02

Check-ins and guest content

Recognisable corners and brand details encouraged guests to take their own photos, share them and extend the brand’s reach.

03

Menu and venue

Food, drinks and atmosphere stayed within one language, so every piece of content remained recognisably connected.

These figures reflect Xi Nê’s overall business performance during the partnership and were influenced by multiple brand activities. Hang Đôi was responsible for the visual and content system, not operations or revenue.

08 · Selected Frames

Where the brand
comes alive.

Live music nights bring space, people and light together most clearly — turning the cinematic idea behind Xi Nê into a real experience.

09 · Visual Language

The art direction system.

Four principles keep every image in the same brand world, whether the subject is a room, a dish or a live music night.

Palette

Wine red · Amber
Olive · Smoke

Composition

Close, layered
and cinematic

The venue provides context; close frames keep depth instead of isolating the subject.

Lighting

Motivated
and intentional

Highlights direct the eye. Shadows, reflections and darkness all serve a purpose.

Writing Tone

Sensory
but precise

Evocative enough to create desire, while staying clear, professional and accurate to the work delivered.

Why This Project Matters

An F&B project is not only about making food look good. It is about expressing the brand through the cinematic spirit already present in its name.

Xi Nê shows how Hang Đôi turns an abstract atmosphere into a clear visual system — consistent enough for everyday brand presence and real campaigns.
